Excellent, but theres only one free lesson. To get the others and all the exercises you must buy the full version.
Very useful to practice your French with audio, video, script and vocabulary all together. Its a pity we cant access older videos.
The present version addresses all of the shortcomings mentioned in previous reviews. Daily use should yield results.
This app represents an excellent way to practice French and improve your listening, speaking and reading. I like it how it is now possible to fast-forward but wish to be able to pause the video and continue from where you left it. Great app!
This app is great to use when you want to hear current news and learn French vocabulary at the same time. Ive been using the free version but will probably buy the full version shortly.
This application is great. It improves all the skills without spending a lot of time. The application works offline if it has been downloaded once, so i usually use it when I queue or waiting for something.
Some bad moments
...but no subtitles, no transcripts of the videos, no pronunciation of the(ir) "new" words eiter. How useless!
First of all, the "study" section doesnt work for me. It just keeps loading forever. So that needs fixing.
The premise of the app is great for intermediate learners, but a few things keep me from paying for the full app. First of all, the news casts need optional French subtitles. The language is so fast and advanced that I can pick out the vocab we learned, but I will get no insight into grammar, sentence structure, etc.
Also, the vocab lists need to have an audio component to ensure correct pronunciation.
Add those pieces and I will pay for the full app without hesitation.
There are sound issues that need to be worked out. The dialogue for the video sequences work great on the iPad however with the individual sound clips for words in the games area- there is no audio.
If this can be worked out - I would give 5 stars and upgrade to the full version. This app is also much better displayed and accessible with the iPad. You miss a lot of content on the iPhone/iPod.
What a train wreck. Where to begin? More than half of the promised functionality DOES NOT WORK. Insane. Do not waste your money on this App.
The app exit itself all the time !!!! And the in app purchase doesnt work on IPad, need to purchase again!!!!!!!
This is a rip-off - it is crashing constantly while opening the application. Totally unusable - I would like to get my money back
